Ricky has plenty leaft in the basement. He could have beaten lasaco easier but wanted to knock him out (not happy with just a win) he pleases the fans.

Still one of the best imo and has 5-6 more fights in him. He is still a young man.

I was impressed with Hatton's performance, he didn't look slow to me, carried good pace and stamina throughout, nearly had Lascano stopped a few times. His combination work was excellent as was his variety from head to body.

He does seem a little more fragile than he was though, thats the only thing I would say, Lascano's punches didn't seem that hard but Hatton was clearly hurt maybe twice whereas he looked unflappable against Tszyu three years ago.

I didnt see hattons last fight, but my guess is that Hatton is fighting excellent fighters and it will always be hard at this stage of his career. Is Lacano finished now then?
Hatton can still make it hard for PBF. Everyone is close to the end of their careers because any sportsmans career is short anyway.
Yes Hatton is near as well. He is only going to have maybe 3 or 4 more fights anyway so all this talk is irrelevant.

He came into that fight off the back of a devastating knockout loss, he'll need time to regain his previous level of confidence. Fighters coming back from their first loss hardly ever put in a perfect performance. Examples:

-Malignaggi fought like a ****** against Edner Cherry
-Lacy arguably lost to Vitali Tsypko
-Zab Judah struggled to a win aganst a journeyman
-Shane Mosley lost 3 of his 4 next fights after losing to Vernon Forrest the fist time

I'm sure there are many more. Give Hatton a chance to find his feet again.
I gave Hatton the eighth round. I gave Juan the tenth and the third.

If the eighth round had gone on another thirty seconds Hatton would have stopped him and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Hatton only got caught in the tenth because he went after him.

Has he got anything left in the tank? is he ageing? Is his lifestyle finally catching up with him??
He was closed to being stopped in that fight had the referee not given him that meaningless break..
if hatton picks his fights wisely he can fight maybe 5 more fights.

Lets face it: Floyd Mayweather ruined this kid. He's done as a world class fighter. I'm willing to bet the farm his fight with Malistinky is decided by a point or less on the scorecards.

He'll never beat an elite WW. He's done! Mayweather retired this guy similar to what Tito did to Vargas.

He is finished. HE doesn't have the same drive anymore, the same intensity. His confidence is shot, he looked very hesitant to do anything last week. Should not fight Malignagg.
