After his fight with Juan Luzcano, he didn't look awfully good..
Has he got anything left in the tank? is he ageing? Is his lifestyle finally catching up with him??
He was closed to being stopped in that fight had the referee not given him that meaningless break..
yes...on all counts...
he did look sluggish and off his game and he is aging but i think he has a few good fights left.
I would like to see him unify the 4 other belts then retire as undisputed.
i reckon he would knock ten bells of **** out of Bradley and Kotelink(?)
winning the WBO may be a bit more tricky tho.. but i think he could do it.
christ you guys like to juimp on guys backs very quickley!!! only 6 months ago he was one of the best fighters in the world, now after a loss TO THE BEST FIGHTER ON THE PLANET,he is just a washed up has been. you seem to forget he won every round in the lazcano fight.and what is up with this break thing in the tenth round? after he got hit with that big shot lazcano dragged him down so the ref dealt with him. hatton bounced back to his corner. and then got his shoe tied! wtf is the big drama?
boxing great...your a bit of a joke tbh!! one loss and all of a sudden he is the worst boxer ever?

get a grip
No what he was talking about was the fact he was in big trouble twice against a former lightweight, was jumping in with punches and was holding a lot..
Face it , he did not look like Ricky Hatton. Infact he hasn't looked like Ricky Hatton since Kostya Tszyu. I rewatched some of his old fights and the diference between them an the Lazcano fight is night and day
He's on the downswing (and the Ring has dropped him off the p4p list which is an interesting move following a 10-2 one sided fight, just because he got hurt a little in two rounds. But no matter, I think he has another couple of fights left in him, I'd like to see how he does against Malignaggi before making a decision on how done he is. This was his first fight back after a pretty bad loss, so you'd expect a couple of problems. Maybe the Malignaggi fight will restore his confidence and we'll see where he goes from there.
People are blowing hatton' situation way out of proportion. Sure he was hit with a few good shots in rounds 8 and 10 but it wasn't half as bad as people are making it out to be. He came into that fight off the back of a devastating knockout loss, he'll need time to regain his previous level of confidence. Fighters coming back from their first loss hardly ever put in a perfect performance. Examples:
-Malignaggi fought like a ****** against Edner Cherry
-Lacy arguably lost to Vitali Tsypko
-Zab Judah struggled to a win aganst a journeyman
-Shane Mosley lost 3 of his 4 next fights after losing to Vernon Forrest the fist time
I'm sure there are many more. Give Hatton a chance to find his feet again.
