So gassed out after 4 rounds is better than gassed out vs a 50 lb bigger opponent after 10 rounds? Like I said, if it wasn't a title fight, Wlad would have easily won. He'd never been 12 rounds before.

I never said it was better. You have no problem coming in here mentioning Haye's defeat to a 40 year old but when someone mentions Wlad's defeat to Ross Purity you come up with an excuse as to why he lost even though both fighters lost in similar fashion.

Other then that, there are only a handful of guys who moved to heavy and had any success at all. None of them had weak chins.
Moorer is a lot stronger than Haye. Just ask Jirov who ran into one of his "heavyweight" punches.

The weight-draining excuse in this case is ridiculous because Haye is already blown up at 200 pounds.

His biggest weaknesses are his bad balance and reliance on straight punches (this is ok only when fighting shorter opponents)

Well since Haye's gassed out after 4 rounds to a 40 year old, 198 lb journeyman, less than 4 years ago.
And Wlad gassed out after 10 rounds to a 31 year old, 249 lb journeyman, 9 1/2 years ago.
I'm not really sure how they're comparable, especially since Haye was hurt and floored and Wlad wasn't. And then the same people say Wlad's chin is glass and there's nothing wrong with Haye's chin.

That I have nothing to retort with, however I was just giving an example of a fighter with less then stellar chin moving up to heavyweight and doing well. Moorer, however, was always a very good and versatile fighter.

Not a bad article, but Haye isn't a one punch ko merchant then only julian jackson is. Nobody could take his power at CW, Carl thompson was in trouble numerous times before haye gassed very badly.

wlad also gassed out against brewster very badly, and got decked by sanders. There's no question that both fighters have dodgy chins, don't let manny steward fool you.

Its unbelievable how so many journalists really think they understand boxing! To claim that David Haye is not a one punch KO puncher is ridiculous, he has dynamite in his hands. Also, do people seriously rate Wlad K and Peter? They are both seriously flawed and are a true indication of how **** the Hvy weights are!! I think the Hvy weights need David Haye, he brings excitement, power and vulnerability. Good luck to him.
