Actually, its his refusal to fight any welterweights that makes him stand out.

That's not a very good picture. The elbows on the throat like he lost a point on against Castillo in the first fight probably a better example. And pressure on the carotid artery with the elbow or forearm is very effective at cutting off blood flow to the brain. It won't render you unconscious like cutting off the flow on both of them, but it still does the trick.

he has amazing defense. the funny thing about it is that he doesn't hide his head intensely, its right there ALMOST upright giving the illusion that it is open for target practice, but he is able to lean and tilt just enough so that his shoulders absorb and redirect the majority of the punches that are meant for his head and his left arm and elboy is acting as an exoskeleton at the same time for any body shots.

the only problem when talkin with his defense now is that De LA Hoya is past his prime and not the same DLH who may have been more of a threat. Baldomir is just plain Baldomir and only British people actually thought Hatton was an actual threat*. We need to see Floyd in with fighters who are smarter and fresher to REALLY see the effectiveness of Floyd's WW defense.

          Dude go away.

You expect Floyd to fight Cintron,.,,Clottey..Willimas..Berto..Collazo..Quit ana..Judah again...Mosley...Cotto...Margarito and Chavez Jr???

          Shut the **** up!

Floyd is not even a REAL Welter hes only in that weight class for the money.

His best weight would be at 140.

Did you even Follow Floyd before he became a welter....he ONLY moved up to fight Oscar..that was the fight he wanted since Oscar was in his prime.

We all know why Hatton cheats sometimes. 20 inch arm length, 5'6", limited athletic ability. But why does a guy some claim to be the greatest ever, who is very athletic, has very good handspeed, excellent reflexes, freakishly long arms (same arm length as Wladimir Klitschko,) need to cheat so much?

Since you are indeed an idiot, I'd suggest you look up the word 'throw'.
