Notice how he holds with the other hand so they can't get away.
    Awesome display of in-ring skills.

By the way, he never hit with that elbow, he pushed.

I doubt his defense will go down as something remembered in 50 years.

Both Willie Pep and Pernell Whitaker are considered better defensively from what I have heard by a lot of people.

James Toney also had a good defense.

Really, defense isn't widely discussed from historic fighters.

Didn't mean to imply that he hits with it, cutting off the blood supply to the brain is far more effective with steady pressure.

Floyds elbow compare nothing to Cotto low blows against Judah. Judah even sed the low blows taken a lot out of him.

So Hatton isnt a dirty fighter...what he did to Kosta was criminal.

If that was his intention, he should take a martial art lesson.

You don't cut off the blood supply by coming from the top, you do it by pushing up from beneath the chin.

                True story.

Floyd's defense really is marvelous, but it's not one of invincibility. He has been tested a few times and that says a lot about his chin, body, and heart. He really needs to have like 5 more fights and go down as the GOAT

                    Is Floyd defence good as:
                    Ali’s Shuffle
                    Marciano’s Chin
                    Mike Tyson Right Hand
                    Roy Jones Reflexes
                    Holmes jab
                    Calzaghe Slap
                    Vitali Klitschko Cuts
                    Zab Judahs Chicken Dance
                    Oscar De La Hoya Panties

Floyd will be remembered as an all time great. I was wondering if his defence will be his main part of his legacy. If Oscar De La Hoya can’t hurt you are something extraordinary and no natural welterweighter will even get close.

I'd like to see his defense against an actual welterweight contender who is in their prime before I claim his defense as an icon.

Yes, his defensive prowess is what makes him stand out (or not stand out if your not a fan of d)
