Marquez v Austin. Hardly gets mentioned on any boxing site. Nice little battle. If you haven't seen it, try. One of the first times I seen Marquez fight and he's been a favorite ever since.

Khaosai Galaxy- Cobra Ari Blanca: a fight back in 1990 that lasted two rounds longer than Hagler-Hearns but much more violent although it involved much smaller protagonists. The Japan-based Filipino, Blanca, floored Galaxy in the first round but the Thai Hall of Famer (inducted in 1999) ended the fight in the sixth with a single punch. The rounds in between were characterized by fierce, non-stop, give-and- take action.

not obscure at all, but whenever we talk about the late diego corrales we talk about his fights with castillo or casamayor. how about his fight with freitas? just the fact that chico had arguably lost all the early rounds, yet never got frustrated or lost concentration. slowly and steadily he started getting to freitas, finally making him quit after dropping him 3 times. classic chico.

agreed. very good fight, and huerta did more than enough to win in my eyes.
