    I sparred an mma fighter

I thought he would suck especially because hes short. I didnt think he would know how to parry or anything. He whipped my ass. I got rocked like 5 times. Ive never been hit clean so many times in rapid succession. He went around my defense so easily with wide hooks. He was very polished and his reflexes were good. Guess I should change my av now..

All you have to do with a ****er like that is keep your distance and circle away from his power. He wont be able to do **** standing up. When he shoots in throw a straight punch towards has balls and his head will fall into your fist. Try it it works.

Its funny how BJ Penn's basic ass boxing skills whoop on the man they call Sean Sherk that can supposedly take down anyone, and don't give me this "Penn has amazing take down defense" crap; ****, Penn is slow as ****. Mayweather Jr. would have whooped his ass even worse.

im sure i will do better next time but hes really good! hes been trained by someone who knows their ****. his defense was TIGHT. he was harder to hit than some of the bigger guys at the gym and his head movement was good! ive boxed for 2-3 years im not that bad! his accuracy was like 75% and i couldnt bob so well because hes so short. his combos were fast and powerful too he made me look like a nub. i didnt want to run like a ***** but the shoulder roll worked well hes not used to it.. i could tell hes been sparring a lot hes polished and his reflexes were good

he is an mma fighter that can box like a boxer. i didnt think they existed.. especially because hes so young. trust me i used to think like you guys.. i wont underestimate an mma guy again. this isnt the first time i got owned by one

If you're getting hit with wide looping shots, ur not much of a fighter. LOL.

All you gotta do to block them is keep you're hands up. Thats why wide shots are considered amatuerish

Im sure it had more to do with the fact the you have never boxed him before and the extra added pressure you put on yourself because he was an "MMA" fighter. Just relax next time. The best thing you can do if your fighting someone that you dont know, is FEINT ALOT!!! See how he reacts and which side he like to slip to. See if he picks his hands up high, which leaves the body open, or does he tighten up and keep elbows to his body and open hands on his face. Feint so you can see his tendencies. It's like poker, you see how someone plays their hands before you jump in a big pot with them. But you freeze up and dont think as much when there is that added pressure. You'll be OK, I promise you, next time you will get him. because there is not the mystery of fighting him or how he fights. You know you can beat him, you were just in a little over your head. Now you know, SO KICK THIS DUDES ASS ----- With your head / smarts, not your fists. Your fist follow your head / smarts, dont throw something THEN think about how to get him. Think FIRST.
Remember this if nothing at all - If you can learn to THINK, you can learn to do whatever.
