Some of the things I know she does with James Kirkland:
Has a truck rigged with a punching bag in the back, she drives it on the street, James Kirkland follows on foot while hitting the bag (and jogging at the same time).
Because he has such an aggressive style, naturally opponents will try to clinch. Wolfe has Kirkland in the ring with multiple other guys , they all try to tackle him, grab him and bring him down. His job is to stay up and fight them off using his body.
To work on defense he also trains inside the ring with multiple people who are allowed to hit him, he isn't allowed to hit back. it's his job to make people miss (and also take the punishment).
She at times has him spar with two people at the same time.
She has him training three times a day.
That's what I remember off the top of my head. She is a beast.
"So when I am working [James] corner, I’m like “beat the **** out of him”. You ever watch him fight? He’s like a shark. He’s like me. I’m a killer. i hate to tell people that. I’m trying to hurt you for the rest of your life while I am inside the ring. He’s not scared of anybody and has the power to back it up. He has some hellified power."Comment

wolfe is a beast. i didn't look at the clip, but i'm guessing it is the one where she laid out vonda ward i think her name was. i have it on tape. it was part of a card that butterbean was on.
vonda, the chick she laid out, had to be carried off on a stretcher. obviously she recieved medical attention and was pretty well ****ed up. i believe anne visited her in the hospital afterwards.
ali did indeed duck wolfe. originally, ali vs wolfe was supposed to be a main undercard on some ppv. anne said that she would fight laila for free if they promoters coyuldn't get something done.
**** laila ali. she lost my respect being a majore role model as a chick boxer when she ducked anne wolfe like 10 times. ali obviosly didn't have the spirit of her dad. i'm sure watching wolfe take care of ward in the first round that brutally took some of the spirit out of her though.
if they would have fought, ali would have been laid out by round 5. that, or something nasty. wolfe can ****. anne doesn't even spar with chicks - she spars with guys. and even the guys say she hits hard.
anne wolfe would ko 90% or more of the people on boxingscene.Comment

Yep, exactly. And the story of James Kirkland/Anne Wolfe is pretty cool too. Kirkland just served three years for robbery and got out in like 2006. He grew up poor, has always been poor and probably is just now starting to make any money. Same with Wolfe. She said most of the people at the gym train so much because they have nowhere else to go, Kirkland included. She's known him since he was 11 years old and says she's the one person that can keep his life straight.
It's crazy though, she'll definitely be the first female trainer to train a male boxer to win a title. I think Kirkland can do itComment

you know what, i have heard many people say things like that. however, the most scary people i have met have always been the nicest, most quiet people. they never seem to say something like that. however, when u box them or just play with them, u either see the look and/or feel the presence coming off of them that basically says all u need to kow. He’s like me. I’m a killer. i hate to tell people that. I’m trying to hurt you for the rest of your life while I am inside the ring. He’s not scared of anybody and has the power to back it up. He has some hellified power
btw, i hope people don't spar with that attitude. i certainly wouldn't have that kind of attitude ****ing with those guys unless i wanted to likely end up in the hospital - even as experienced as i am.Comment

Anne Wolf actually comes off polite and respectful in her interviews. I'll put that quote into context:you know what, i have heard many people say things like that. however, the most scary people i have met have always been the nicest, most quiet people. they never seem to say something like that. however, when u box them or just play with them, u either see the look and/or feel the presence coming off of them that basically says all u need to kow.

On the trials and tribulations of poverty and how they realte to fighters:
“Eveyone in our gym is real sofy spoken and polite. Like I tell my fighters, someone is trying to punch you in the face. In my gym we fight becasue the majority of the people that come had to fight on the streets and fight to live. We all were poor and ain’t had nothing so we fight with a certain type of tenacity that a lot of people can’t get becasue they didn’t go through what we went through and so i don’t feel the same way. So when I am working [James] corner, I’m like “beat the **** out of him”. You ever watch him fight? He’s like a shark. He’s like me. I’m a killer. i hate to tell people that. I’m trying to hurt you for the rest of your life while I am inside the ring. He’s not scared of anybody and has the power to back it up. He has some hellified power.”
Wolfe on thier relationship:
“He’s like my brother. He is truly 100% like my brother. When I came to the gym he was 12 years old. The olny coach we have ever had is pops. then I started doing his conditiong. The way we train. We spar with 20 oz gloves. We hot the bag with 20 oz gloves. When we spar we like it’s a fight. All the kids I have in the gym fight like that.”Comment
