Campbell actually offered to take the small end of the purse, contrary to the 50/50 split in the media, to entice Casamayor into the fight. A Campbell-Casamayor fight makes considerably more worthwhile than Juan Diaz-Casamayor.

that is opinion. And i believe its true. The fight will guarantee sell out in Houston. 10k people. And the Casamayor-Campbell fight may have a hard time selling itself eventhough its for the championship

Not necessarily. Both Casamayor and Campbell have decent followings in South/West Florida. Both are Florida-based fighters who have done decent numbers in places like Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Tampa.

The disparity in money isn't nearly enough to say that Casamayor should look past Campbell and his belts. The challenge might be, and a win over Diaz is more likely than a win over Campbell. If money is used as a reason why he would fight Diaz over Campbell, the Golden Boy belt will lose even more credibility.

Casamayor will be making comparable money if he fights Campbell, if not more.

hard to say... diaz should win it but I can't count out casamayor. I want Diaz to win because he might actually want to get in the ring with campbell again to avenge his loss. IMHO diaz should take a tune up before fighting casamayor.
