How does this 10-2 Concepcion, who was knocked out in a 4-round fight by a guy with a 1-5 record, earn a shot at a vacant belt?

    Banal will detonate this character.

      Why?

Because boxing is a matter of who your promoter is, Banal is baked up by GBP. If he is so talented, why he dont fight a tru adversary like Juama is doing??

        ??

Should read "true", anyway, Filipinos just want to claim another cardboard Title. Look at Gorres fighting a no one from Kenya, look at the others including Paquiao, picking easier opponents..Guzman still chasing him...

              ******!

              Banal(115lbs) & JuanMa(122lbs) are two divisions apart~
I like to see Banal vs Arce/Darchinyan~

I doubt that they'll be dancing on the streets in Cebu if (when?) Banal wins. The best they'll do, I guess, is exchange knowing smiles and winks.

Beating this Concepcion is not grist for the enthusiasm mill; not even among the most rabid Cebuano boxing fans. They'll appreciate the belt if Banal gets it, but they won't gloat. Well, I don't think they will. I think they know what they're getting.

If you spell Filipinos as "Phillipinos", it clearly says you do not know much about Filipinos. That makes your judgment of who they are, what they know and what they may do suspect, at the very least.

I have frequently visited the Philippines, including Cebu. I, at least, know how to spell "Cebuano" and "Filipino". These surely do not qualify me as a good judge but these enable me to make guesses on what they may do.

I speculated; I did not assert knowing who they are and what they'll do. And my guess was and is that they shall neither put down the belt that Banal wins (if he wins it) nor will they be so enthused as to make more of it than what it really stands for. I think they'll give it the appropriate reception--no more, no less.
