Can Margarito take the same shots Mosley took from Cotto?

I love how people go on about Margaritos ability to take punishment. Miguel Cotto doesn't have that problem.

to me tony hasnt fought any big names to prove himself. cotto fought sum good people that others think he was goin to lost and obvislouly he prove them wrong. they r both good fighters though.

Those exchanges between Cotto and Mosley were brutal. Head snapping! I mean, you'd think the fight was some WWE fake **** the way they snapped each other's heads back and forth and neither went down the entire fight. Unbelieveable. Now I ask, do you think Margarito would have been able to take those same shots? He does have an iron chin, but...also do you think Margarito's shots would have the same power as Shane in a balance in that Shane has speed but lacks some pop, where Margarito lacks speed, he hits abit harder. What u think?

Well, I highly believe if Cotto will win, it's because of the speed and ability you mentioned. He's shown as alot versatility in his fights and showed very underrated speed. The only real threat I'd say Tony poses is that he throws goddamn near 1600 punches a fight! If Cotto can neutralize his punches with afew good placed body shots, I think he'll have the fight in the bag in the later rounds.

clottey has a tendency of putting on the ear muff D and letting fighters get off punches in bunches on him. Cotto dont do that. I look for Margarito to be throw around 70 -80 punches per round due to Cotto's movement and offense.

Can Jotto take margarito's body punches...no one has attacked Jotto to the body like margarito will be doing...Cintron can testify to margarito's punishing body blows....Jotto only punches the balls...Jotto will not be able to take 2 rds of body punches...

I'm not sure about the Mosley that Cotto fought, ........but I would say a prime Mosley had a better chin and was able to take more punishment (head and body) than a prime Margarito.

Thats no dig against Margarito, its just that Mosley was tough as hell..
