You know what's funny, is when they showed the HBO Countdown to DLH and Maweather, DLH has like twice as much money as Mayweather and was in a modest house, with modest clothes and watch. While mayweather was carrying around 100K in cash on him at all times.....what an ass he looked like.

Almost. I'm a fan of the sport 1st, and Floyd is not my favorite Boxer because I like K.O's.I do admire Floyds abilities in the ring he's in my top 6. But I will admit when it comes to Floyd I'm more of a fan of his business ventures and successes as well as his work in the community, then I am of his Boxing. Same goes for Oscar De la Hoya, I'm more of a fan of Golden Boy Promotions then I am of him.Although I must say I do love Floyds boxing but he is not my favorite, that would Be Tyson.

As far as this post I don't respect when someones family member comes and just tries to downgrade another family member who is doing better than him. Everytime Jeff opens his mouth about lil Floyd, it's some garbage. To me thats foolish and not a respected move. The issue is between Big Floyd and his Son. motha****a you're talking to an ex promoter. i know exactly how the industry works. i never said he wasnt intelligent or hasn't made brilliant business moves, you are assuming that because your feelings for floyd transcend normal fanship and cross the line into something deeper. im agreeing with jeff that Floyd has put on a facade for money. any fool with out PBF posters in their bathrooms can see that. when you become more of a business man than a boxer, quality will not always be the priority and you as a "business man" should understand that right?

look at the record industry right now. content with substance doesn't sell. gone are the days when someone like Nas was able to go platinum with albums that had for substance than flash. Gone are the days when singer/songwriters ruled the airwaves such as Fiona Apple and Sara McGlaughlan, but now its manufactured "pop princesses" who are carefully sculpted to appeal to a certain target audience, a certain demographic naive and ignorant enough of the situation that they will shell out money for the product that is being sold.

Thats the same **** that Floyd is doing now. He is bypassing content with substance (significant fights) for insubstantial content that sells (DLH, Hatton) therefore not producing anything of quality or significance. And the funny thing is Floyd can get all the money he wants. I dont give a **** and I'm not jealous. I know of drug kingpins with more money and bitches Floyd could dream of that I could be jealous of. But if he is going to profit off of the labels he has been given, P4P champ etc, and not live up to the standards of those who were labeled that in the past that made the sport what it is today, then you damn well better expect people, fans, the community to criticize this fool because its never going to end. live with it.

Quite honestly I could careless if you were an ex promoter or an ex boxer. All your expressing is your perspective, which is not a fact it's just your opinion on things. Now you speak of drug kingpins who are richer then FLoyd and thats exactly what I like about Floyd. He's a young Rich BLackman without selling drugs, promoting drugs, or doing them. Now to me that is something to look up to and respect, period. I can tell my son, hey look there are other ways to get what you want through "hardwork and determination". You say FLoyd has put on a facade for money? So what? Is that suppose to be worse then selling drugs into the community? As a matter of fact If I was in his position I would do the same thing.... Why?...because it works.

Now just because you say its a facade,doesn't mean it is. I learned of FLoyd through a Raekwon video. I met Floyd and Zab on South Beach for memorial weekend in 2005/2006. And at the time I wasn't a FLoyd MAyweather fan I was a Zab Judah fan(I was younger lol). I remember Zab walking all over the place checking **** out while Floyd was kicking it on the bench I was on with some regular other guy I ain't know. DId FLoyd through money at us, NO, Did FLoyd disrespect us becasue we had no money, NO, he talked to us about Boxing and jayz and not only that, he was in some basketballshorts a tanktop with someheadphones. If I didn't watch boxing and rap video I wouldn't of known who the **** he was.

Thepoint to the whole story is I'm part of that urban market your saying he's putting on a facade for but how is it a facade if he's actually at the parties and at the scenes hanging out? I'm in FLorida he's from detroit but he was on the spot just like everybodyelse so that obviously tells you he understands the urban market because he IS a part of it. JEFF MAYWEATHER ISNT.

Also Floyd is not ruining Boxing in anyways, It took him 9/10 years to get on ppv and I've seen his fights vs Corley,Emmanuel Augustus, Zab Judah man all them ****s, and you know what? Those fights weren't all cakewalks. I don't think you have the right to ask the man to do it again because of what you wanna see. When you people tlak about boxing INcluding you Mr. ex promoter, I notice you guys don't give a flying **** about the Boxers well being. MAybe becasue my cousin is a pro, I actually think of Boxers as people rather then just an etertainment source for blood. Yeah I look up to certain boxers, nobody looks up to a promoter. Your opinion is heard, but its definately not facts. It's just that your opinion.

I'll give you this much, it's better than Jeff Jealousy Mayweather.
