I like David Haye and the fact he's breathing some life into the HW division with his rants and raves. Sometimes I wonder what the media and boxingscene community will say if goes down, wins unimpressively, or worse, gets KTFO?? I hope he wins b/c I think the HW division needs a brash heavyweight who talks alot of ****, it would offset WLAD nicely. If Haye did get rolling, he could be the poor man's Ali with his ****talking.

David Haye need to solid wins. If he doesn’t knockout any of his future opponents before Wladmir he is screwed. Because a whole 12 rounds with Wladmir will be hell. I not confident about Haye Chin looks weak. He needs to improve his defence

james toney talked a lot of trash but had a minimal impact. i don't think he is breathing any life into it besides for peeps from england.

let him fight someone like Rahman or Toney and then someone in the top 10 and then ask for a shot at Klitschko

ok, but i would rather see him fight five or six times before earning a shot. there are plenty of people that are in the division just waiting for the chance to crack the top ten or top five. i never like it when a champ from another division skyrockets so quickly.

i don't mind the added diversity haye brings, but i think he should fight some punchers who aren't slow as hell or 40 years old. carefull managing can make him look and appear better than he is. that will make all those uk boys post a million threads about how haye is going to be the next unified champ. and then, if he gets crushed somewhere along the way, we will hear about how big the difference is at heavyweight comparitively.

Even Evander Holyfield, who fought 3 champs in unifying at CW, not 2 like Haye, needed 6 fights at HW before getting a shot at Douglas, and all 6 of those wins were by stoppage.

Why should Haye get a championship fight with Klitschko after two fights while everyone else has to work for that opportunity? I just don't get it. The guy has not even fought as a heavyweight and everyone is acting like he is the redeemer of the division. Let him work his way up the ladder like all of the other heavyweights.

There are plenty of fights available before a fight with Klitschko should take place. He can fight the winner of the Chris Arreola vs Chad Witherspoon fight. Other fighters that can test Haye are Peter, Sultan, Chambers, and Povetkin.

Getting Haye to fight Rahman and Toney means nothing, those guys are washed up and clearly has-beens. Haye should fight guys that are young and hungry that can prepare him for a championship fight.

Why shouldn't he, ppl move up from other weights to fight the top guy when they're not even no 1, top 5. Slightly different for HW, but not majorly I mean Wlads exaggerated what Haye needs to do, to earn a fight with him. He was as the top of a decent division, Wlads top of a naff division, get it on next week I say.
