Former undisputed cruiserweight champion David Haye is hoping to land a shot at WBC/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko by 2009. Haye recently signed a four-fight deal with Setanta Sports and his promotional company, Haymaker Promotions, agreed to a five-year partnership deal with Golden Boy Promotions. All four of Haye's fights under the Setanta deal will be contested at the O2 Arena. [details]

That made me think to. I could see him getting guys to go there, but what he does well after a couple of fights and then it's time for Wlad. You would think since Wlad is the champ that it would be either in the States or Germany. The crow would be good at the O2, but it would be interesting to see if Wlad would be ok with it being on Haye's hometurf.Comment

The bold plan for Haye was outlined in no uncertain terms:
Autumn 2008 – fight against a top ten ranked heavyweight
Early 2009 – another fight against a top ten ranked opponent
Mid 2009 – fight whoever is regarded as the dominant world heavyweight champion (at this moment, Wladimir Klitschko)
Late 2009 – Haye's first defence of his heavyweight title (“all being well”)
All fights will take place at the O2 ArenaComment
