Remember this is the same carl that stopped chris eubank to so he wasnt a **** fighter but he was past it at this point it was just haye beat himself really.
part of it was stamina in that instance but he does also have a suspect chin. he also has heart. I'll give him that but lets not ignore the obvious chin problem

Don't get me wrong, I like Haye, he's a good fighter, but the way the media overhype boxers makes me grow to despise everything they do and stand for, case in point Amir Khan.
add mock to the list. haye's an exciting fighter with heart,,good power (at cruiser at least) and hand speed but he's going to need to fight differently against the more dangerous heavyweights like wlad,,peter,,,chageav and a couple others

Haye and Wlad were both 22 in their losses, the thing was Wlad lost to a journeymen/bum who did not even have half more wins than his losses where Haye lost to a guy who beat Eubank & Rothmann and was a former cruiserweight champion. Bottom line is I would rather lose a guy who has a winning record and actually beat contenders in his division/ was top 10 in the rankings, rather than a guy who is a journeyman and probably not even ranked anyone near the top 100

like i said...pretty ****ing embarrasing....atleast a 40 year old Sanders KTFO of Wlad in 2 rounds, but you can say Sanders was a good fighter who had only been stopped by Hasim Rahman and Nate tubbs before...BUT ross ****ing purrity a 33 year old bum with a losing record nor ranked anywhere near the top 50 who wlad was supposed to KO in 2 or 3 rounds, beat him
lmao. youre saying haye wasnt dropped? I'd rather be stopped due to gassing in the 10th round when never being past the 6th before after totally dominating a fighter regardless of the fighters record than getting dropped and stopped by a little 40 yr old shot has been fighter in like the 5th round

37 is not that old for a HW these days. Lennox Lewis stopped Tyson 3 months before his 37th birthday.

You want to brag on a title he won from Ralf Rocchigiani, who previously KO'd Thompson for a vacant WBO belt, and that he lost on his first defence?

Haye looks like a different fighter there, his legs were gone.

Haye has never been past the 4th round before he was stopped in his 10th fight against Carl thompson either.

haye def hs heart. thompson was a very good puncher even at that age. it was more about haye running out of energy.

Not trying to make excuses for Haye, but he was obviouslly gassed in that fight, he couldn't even jab at Thompson from the 4th on, so Carl was completelly free to fire at will with nothing coming in return.

If he had a jab at least, he would probably have beat Thompson in that fight.

Major mistake for Haye, in boxing you always have to get ready to go the full 12 rds.
If he does the same against Wlad he is gonna end up in a hospital, although I think he has learned from that defeat.
