You make no sense at all, first you say you have to put Quintana above Williams because he beat him but then dont use that logic when placing Margarito three spots above Williams in whom he lost to. I have fighters I like too, but wouldnt be bias with a list, that says alot about you.

I don't care for Antonio Margarito at all. His fan boys annoy me and he is by no means one of my favorite fighters. I much prefer Cotto and pick him to win the fight. Paul Williams is take him or leave him for me, as is Quintana. Do you see any of those fighters names in my sig? I was stating that it is unfair to put Quintana above Williams (even though he is the man who beat Margarito) because of all of the nice work that Margarito has done at WW. (Carlos has two good wins on his record: Joel Julio and Williams. Margarito has Cintron, Cintron, Clottey, Lewis, Kyvelos, Gomez, Johnson as well as several other) The way I see it, two wins are worth more than 1 loss, especially in an absolutely packed division like WW. I think that the wins and the belt are enough for Margarito to be placed above Williams. A totally fair opinion. Margarito's loss to Williams was exetremly close, so when the competition is as hot as it is at 147 a loss means alot, but coming back strong evens it out. Whats wrong with that>
Again youre using double standards. You say the Margarito/Williams fight was close, but what about the Clottey fight, Marg was on the verge of losing until Clottey hurt his hand. Also, Lewis, Kyvelos, Gomez and Johnson are not good welterweight wins, if you know those fighters you would know this, not to mention Margo towered and was way bigger than each of these fighters. I give Marg credit for beating Cintron the first time even though I never thought Cintron was that good, but I dont give him much credit the second time because he already beat the guy and beat him basically the same way and it took longer. You probably wouldnt give Floyd much credit for split decisioning Oscar again would you? Arum is a smart promoter and always knows what he has in a fighter, thats why Margarito has been fighting for so long with basically only two recogizable names on his resume thus far.Comment

Margarito is only coming off a win from a guy he beat 3 years ago. That is not enough to redeem a loss. Margarito cannot be above Quintana, because he lost to the guy Quintana beat, and OBVIOUSLY Williams is below Quintana as well, even you agree with this.
Without Floyd, my top 10 looks like this:
Cotto (obviously)
Mosley (gave Cotto a tougher fight than Quintana and Judah combined)
Quintana (beat Williams, who beat Margarito)
Williams (beat Margarito)
Margarito (lost to Williams)
Clottey (gave Margarito a tougher fight Cintron)
Cintron (lost twice to Margarito)
Judah (lost to Floyd, Baldomir, and Cotto)
Collazo (lost to Hatton and Mosley)
Berto (still has much to prove)
In fact, I would put Clottey and maybe even Berto ahead of Cintron. Speaking of Berto, after his next fight, I wouldn't mind seeing Berto versus Cintron.Comment

Its hard to not do that though. Williams lost his most recent fight and has not been quite as active as Tony. Tony put in two great KO wins and won a title. Williams is coming off a loss, Margarito off a win. You have to put Margarito above Quintana, simply because of what Antonio has accomplished in the division. You have to put Quintana above Williams because of that fact that he beat him. So it cant really work out any other way. Unless of course you think that Quintana deserves to be above both, which isn't wrong, but I disagree with it. Just my thoughts.
Where is he on your list?Comment
