I find it funny that how mayweather works. On one hand he seeks and claims he's the G.O.A.T (and IF he could beat these two, this would not make him GOAT). On the other hand he is a business man and seeks the best fights in a financial sense. You can't be both! He should be seen as what he is, a GREAT businessman. His last fights were against a overhyped 140 cashcow and an old De La Hoya. Floyd likes to talk a tough game but hasn't in a long time done anything to back it up. Wanna prove ur the best of THIS generation, fight Cotto or Margarito. They are tough challengers and wins over either would shut up alot of his critics. Beating one of these two also verifies your status as best in the division. Right now, who ever win on June 28 will be the division best. These two men are true warriors and good for boxing. Cotto is putting everything on the line by fighting the best AvAILABLE challenge and Margarito is doing the same thing. Hell, Mayweather won't fight a top ten Welterweight contender(Judah was not as he was beat by Baldamir who was nothing)! I think its ridiculous that Cotto should have to call out Floyd. If you wanna be considered the best then fight your top contenders. Otherwise vacate the belts and tell it for how it is.
As far as the Mayweather as P4P, that's ridiculous..... its Pacquaio... He fought his toughest challenger and got the OFFICIAL nod. He continues to fight the best competion available (I rank a shot Morales and Barrera over Gatti, Judah, Hatton and Baldamir any day) Floyd has done neither... Floyd NEEDS to take on a real challenge at weltereight or I can't see how you can recognize him as P4P or welterweight King
