by this i mean some guys give themeselves distance and get points by throwing and landing a lot of punches(ans oscar's a good enough natural puncher that his pitty pat isnt exactly worthless)........so what if they get hit with 1 or 2 good hard shots(which is the best mosley landed for at least 7-8 rounds) if they arent even slowing them down or hurting them???....
Plain and basic common sense. If the numbers are close, I can see going with the power puncher, but otherwise it can be more or less a numbers game when judging a fight.

I'd be lying if I denied that I can't stand Oscar. That's the one guy you can call me out on. However I did have him winning the Whitaker fight for whatever that is worth.

Yeah I thought it was pretty clear Oscar beat Whitaker. A draw I can see though.

Two things about that fight though:

            -Scorecards were ridicoulous (horrible spelling)

-The point reduction for the accidental headbutt was even worse.

I thought DLH won the second fight, 7-5 or 8-4. Mosley won the first one though.

What is with fighters, that they have to juice up before fighting Oscar. Vargas got busted and Mosley said he took ****, i wonder if any other guy juiced?

I had DLH winning 115-113. It was a very close fight with a lot of close rounds.

It wasn't a robbery no matter what HBO tried to claim.

Please. There was nothing clear at all about the win over Quartey.

Even with the great finish for DLH, you still have to be generous to DLH for him to win that fight. Say you're nice and give him 3 of the first 5 rounds (it can easily by 3-2 Ike or 2-2-1). Ike wins round 6 when both guys go down, as he controlled the round after the KDs. DLH did **** all offensively from rounds 7 through 9, despite Foreman claiming "not much is a lot for Oscar De La Hoya". Quartey did little, landing some jabs here and there and an occassional right hand, but DLH did even less. DLH won none of the rounds from 6 thru 9. DLH needs to win the next 3 rounds to win the fight, and giving him the 11th round is very iffy.

I had it a draw if I remember correctly, but was leaning towards Oscar getting the decision

Boy was I relieved when they announced the winner
