mijares already beat the number 2 at that division and he is number 1 he should have the ring title by now
anyway mijares having lots of troubles making the weight
if this fight is gonna happen it has to happen this year

Technically Montiel beating Castillo (who was 1 at the time) bumped him up. Mijares moved to 2 with his beating of Navarro I think and Munoz moved to 3.

So it was a 2 vs 3 match up and couldn't be filled.

Mijares by UD over Montiel or probably SD because Mijares always seems to have that one judge that goes against him for some unknown reason. I just think Mijares would just be too slick and accurate for Montiel.
