    Hatton by comfortable decision.

It's true to say Malignaggi had the harder opponent on Saturday, but he looked woeful. At least Hatton beat up his bum for virtually all of the fight, although it was worrying to see him get rocked. I don't think Malignaggi can stop Hatton getting to him on the inside.

I've seen nothing in malignaggi to suggest he can beat Hatton. he's nowhere near as slick as he makes out, he gets hit far too easily and his offence is hampered by a severe lack of power.

Hatton is playing it safe to be honest, because the other choice is not very palatable - a move up to 147 again to fight much bigger guys. I think he has decided that unless it is floyd he's not going up again, but the lack of talent at 140 means he's in for a quiet last few years.

dude, Cotto virtually starved himself to meet the weight.

but i also dont think it needs to be some type of PPV fight like paulie and hatton are hoping for...yeah the demand isnt high but its a fight that needs to happen in my opinion because you've got two of the best at 140 and a clear champ at 140 needs to be decided...

either by hatton winning and retaining his title of "140 champ" or by paulie winning and taking that title from him proving he's the new best at that weight.

I think a simple fight on HBO/SHO would be warranted but i dont think this matchup will EVER been demanded high enough to earn a PPV status.

I think it will be a close fight; a dog fight at points with all the holding and hitting...

i think it will go to a close decision...possibly either way...
i think it will be on ppv because of how many hatton fans will want to see it whether or not it is ppv worthy.

Couldnt be bothered to watch the hatton fight, might watch it later today, watched paulie, he was horse****, but he did **** his hand midway through the fight and i reckon he was ****ing around with his hair instead of training too.

However hatton aint seen anything as quick as paulie, if paulie keeps his hands high and his right hand holds up, i think he will win the fight. Paulie was poor against n dou's right hand and hatton leads in from all sorts of angles, if paulie just relies on relexes and leans away from the shots, hes gonna be on trouble, if he holds his hands up, different story.

Paulie can make hatton look very bad, all this charging in straight lines with no head movement aint gonna work against a fighter with footwork like paulie imo.

I think people look into Hatton being staggered a little too much.

Take into consideration that he's not mentally where he should be at yet, and that is reflected on the physical side too.

He didn't expect a tough fight from Lazcano, and the lack of sharpness on his focus became apparent later in the fight.
