Why was Lacy rated so highly?

    Probably the same reason why Miranda was/is. He was big, powerful and delivered the highlight reel KO's.

        I'll tell you something. I never get excited about power puncher prospects, because they always look the best against nobodies, and usually do the worst against good fighters.

            He was building an impressive KO based pro record after an Olympic medal (I think) so to some extent the hype was understandable. The division was weak at that point but I don't think it is now. I think it is much stronger than the middleweights. That Lockett (who the **** is he?) gets a title shot......manfredo would handle that guy!

              Lacy did not win a medal, but he was on the Olympic team.

                it helps me gauge how good the fighter was at the particular time. that and I enjoy scoring. that and maybe itll help me understand why Tsyzu quit, cause maybe Hatton was too far ahead for Kostya to win.
