Yeah because a 44 year old Hopkins is better than a 35 year old DLH who had the size, ring, gloves, and literally every other advantage

And who had an undefeated Kessler beaten compared to an undefeated Hatton? Hatton = two weight champion, undefeated at the time, linear at 140, beaten kostya tszyu and jose luis castillo which is better than beating anthony mundine who was KTFO by Sven ottke for ****s sake.

Lacy is obviously more talented to you than former undisputed welterweight champion in zab judah right? He was a bodybuilder who lost to Omar Sheikha... atleast Judah has beaten Spinks and Witter who has Lacy beaten? A shot robin reid?

Now compare Ashira (who hasn't even won a alphabet title yet) to Mitchell (who is a two time world champion)

Bika to Baldomir (Who beat Judah and Gatti, and was the linear champion at 147, while Bika hasn't even won an alphabet title yet)

and Manfredo to Gatti Which was a better win? The contender loser who has never won a title or a two time world champion?

You've seent he polls pesticid made recently, all in favour of Calzaghe. Floyd hasn't done anything in the world of boxing to make him remembered when he retires, yeah he won a few belts but he doesn't have 21 defences and he didn't unify an entire division.
      a ridiculous division

This is easy... Floyd, the only p4p fighter/lineal champ Joe ever beat was 43 year hopkins...

Or we can do it like this,

the combined loss total of Cals opposition is 9 . Baldomir alone equals that. Total combined losses on the ledger of Mayweather opponents of the last 3 years.

          An astounding 26.

Lets look at it another way. 3 of Floyds opponents has a loss in their previous two fights. Joes have none.
Joe has two undefeated fighters he faced, both favored to beat him. Mayweather has one, an undefeated fighter from a division below who he was favored to beat.

Joe Calzaghe is the better pound for pound fighter right now and has the hardware to prove it. 2 Ring World championships. Not just an organizational trinket, but world championships. Let that sink in for a moment. Joe has faced the best fighter at 168 and 175. Floyd hasn't faced the best fighter in a division since lightweight.

When talking pound for pound, how are you going to just overlook these facts?

So wait a minute, Roy Jones Jr. gets praise as being an ATG, but he fought in a division of bums too. Are you going to discredit him as well?

I just was discrediting a lot of it just a couple of days ago. Roy gets more props for moving around though, as he didn't just sit in a division of bums his whole career and still managed to fight the best of the bum brigade.

What's funny is that Mayweather has been in a division with great fighters, yet he hasn't faced any of them.

How about Bhop getting praise for his title defenses against Morrad Hakar and Carl Daniels.
