I've got to be honest. I'm a bigger fan of MAB, but i struggle to see him winning over Morales this time around.

When you compare the form of the two of them... Morales as got to be the heavy favourite. Still, don't under estimate the power of hatred. I'll be cheering for Barrera.

      That knockdown wasnt legit.

Morales fights best when he is confident.

I don't like Marco's chances. He's not the same guy he was 5 years or even 2 years ago, while Morales, even though he's taken a lot of shots, still looks good. That, plus the higher weight... ...I dunno, but it doesn't look good for MAB...

Watch it again. I saw it in slow mo over and over and over again. Morales backs up when he lunges in he gets caught with a short left hook flush on the face. Morales was still up for a split second before his right knee goes down. Wasn't a devastating knockdown but he got hurt. If it was a slip the motion would have been faster. His knee gave way slowly which indicates it was by choice he set it down.

I agree Morales is fights best when confident. But
OVER-confidence for any fighter is unhealthy during a fight.

The majority of people discounted MAB's chances going into the FIRST fight...look what happened.

I wouldn't wager any money on it.....but I give Barrera a tremendous chance in this third fight. This is based on him coming to fight to win, not to just edge out Morales.

I think they could fight a 100x & there won't be much to distinguish between the two.

For the sport, a Morales victory is the best thing. Morales seems like he has a lot of fighting, & bigger fights, ahead of him than does Barrera.

Its you who needs to watch it again man there isnt even a punch, Morales ducks Barrera's left hook and his knee goes down there was NO punch.

They slow it down at the end of the HBO telecast there is CLEARLY NOT a LEGIT KD.

There was NO FLUSH SHOT when Morales went down

Whoever you think is going to win is one thing, weather it's Morales by destruction or whatever, what you can't deny is that Morales has yet(in 2 fight)to figure out MAB. I don't see this changing, it's going to be very close.

The struggles with MAB and the ease in which Manny had with MAB makes me think that Morales will lose if they do in fact fight, again I have said it a million times...Morales defense is going to get him in trouble. I don't know what happended with Jesus Chavez and his hands but I do know that he was pounding Erik in the first, simply kicking his ass, now of course he had no answer for Morales return fire but if he was in fact hurt like he claims it would have been a fight where we really would have begun to question EM. The injury may have delayed the inevitable but I will say it again, Erik will soon be in trouble.

Barrera is going forward and when Morales ducks the left Barrera hip hits Morales on the face.

That is a delicate fight to discuss. Chavex DID hurt Morales in the first. He also injured his hand somewhere in the 3rd I believe and fought bravely with one hand. However, Chavez did get dropped twice when both of his hand we're healthy. I do think that Morales' defense has weaknesses that can be exploited but I don't think Barrera has the arsenal to make Morales pay.
