If Margarito Were To Beat Cotto

Margarito got his fight game going late in the Williams fight
In the second half of that fight Margarito almost knocked that freak out.
Since that loss Margarito said he will start fast and strong from the opening bell.
Looking at the fights with Golden Johnson and Cintron I dont think he will ever let that happen again.

Like I said, Margarito looks to me like a very dangerous fight for Cotto. Basically both of them win by breaking their opponent down with hard shots until they just can't take anymore, just Cotto does it with short punches and hooks up close whereas Margarito does it with big wide hooks from longer range. The key to the fight is whether Marg can keep Cotto of him/ whether Cotto can get inside.

The best thing about the fight is that I can see a way for both fighters to win. Marg has shown that he can be vulnerable to straight, crisp punches through the middle, but Cotto can be vulnerable to big shots from outside. I have to add though, that I have never seen Tony hurt, but I've seen Cotto rocked a few times, even though I actually think he has an excellent chin.

A pickem fight for me and one that I am looking forward to seeing immensely.

There would be no shame in losing to him, but I will be suprised if Cotto did lose to Margarito.

They are both quality fighters, and you should not undermine either of them. Both of them have a bigger set of balls than Floyd Gayweather.

I doubt Coto fans will join Margaritos Bandwagon, Cotto fans dont have a bandwagon they are either Puerto Rican or boxing enthusiasts.

If anyone in boxing has a Bandwagon it is definitely Mayweather and If anybody says otherwise they, like mayweather, have fallen into his overhyped world of delusional thoughts or they are big fans of WWE and think its actually REAL!!

I also doubt Cotto will lose to Margarito,

1 Margarito has a mediocre defense and Cotto has far better boxing skills.

Its gonna keep getting sweeter as Cotto beats his way to Gayweather and then finally knocks him out
