he is not shot...of course, but he ate a lot of punches today, and his opponent was a good fighter but not a top guy. against a top guy hatton would be in a lot of trouble.
i think that the hatton of today losses with the kostya tszyu that hatton beat.

No, but he is almost there. If anything Mayweather showed that Ricky can't take a counter left hook and Lazcano tried to take advantage of that.

However Hatton still had a tremendous workrate. Please note it was also 53 degrees outside.

I called it before the Mayweather fight. Hatton is past his prime. Over his last few fights several things have become evident.

          1. His capacity for sustaining a high work-rate has been diminishing.
          2. His ability to absorb punishment has been diminishing.
          3. His hand and foot speed has been noticeably slowing.

His out of control life style has been catching up with him in recent years. He has not looked sharp in quite a few fights and it is only getting worse. Hatton has been past his prime, and he will continue to go down hill.
i dunno if he's past his prime but his technique has ****** ever since he beat tszyu. I liked Hatton the brawler more than Hatton the mauler.
