    Lazcano's Stamina

    Was Horrible.

Everytime he threw a flurry of punches he looked great. Had Ricky stunned on a couple occasions. especially in the 10th round. But Ref came quickly to the rescue.

I guess the layoff played a role and the stamina just wasnt there.

    good fight though.

I think it may have had something to do with the body shots.

Answered ur own question man it was only the lay off that killed his stamina.

I thought Lazcano was alright. I mean Ricky put a lot of pressure but Lazcano always kept throwing.

He was paid not to KO Hatton, just like Urango.

The layoff was probably the main factor, some of those body shots early on from Hatton certainly didn't help.

yea unfortunate. really good puncher, and works well inside. clearly more power than hatton.. but if you dont have the stamina there isnt much you can do.

also, how about the fact that lazcano threw absolutly nothing AND only threw 3 over hand rights the whole fight. the jab and double jab right hand was open all night on hatton and lazcano never took a shot, hatton was way open for straight right hands all night long and lazcano didn't do **** about it.

he really missed an opportunity to exploit hatton's flaws and have made a huge upset, instead he looked like a sparring partner for about 87% of the fight. whatever the reason lazcano missed his chance at a very vulnerable ricky hatton.

i think it would be in hattons best interest to maybe get a new trainer, i thought his balance was terrible tonight and his defense was worse than i've ever seen, even more than the mayweather fight. nothing against graham but i think they've peaked as a duo. i think roach would be a good trainer for hatton just because roach has helped out pacquiao with his balance and roach works well with aggressive style fighters.

Well, I think it had more to do with Hatton landing a lot of shots throughout the fight. Lazcano was tired, but so was Hatton. I thought it was a really good fight actually besides the ref and Lazcano abandoning his jab after a few rounds.
