I never understood that either. As long as theyre making enough to provide for their family and their future(along with their medical bills if they get roughed up in the ring), I dont really understand why anyone would care that much about what a fighter makes.

Hatton sure does have a loyal fanbase...

You mean Mayweather sold 850K in the US. Since hatton's buys sans-Floyd are a totoal of, um, er...

      ZERO.

that was after Gatti and Judah PPV's. It was perceived that the fight was going to be exciting as confirmed by these articles..

This could possibly be one of the most exciting nights for this year of boxing.

Mayweather vs. Baldomir is looking like the ‘Fight of the Year’ candidate and from a sports fans perspective.
Basically, Floyd had created a buzz because of the excitement of his previous PPV fights so it is only logical that his 3rd would follow in the same direction. But we all know how that went.

Please remind me how many pay per view buys Hatton has in the US without Floyd.
              Thanks in advance.

**** knows you can't prove **** about US buys since you can't take a poll on who ordered the fight to see which fighter.
Whereas Hatton is proved he is fighting a B grade fighter and still making a gate of 55,000 whereas i doubt if Floyd fought Lazcano in his hometown that he'd pull even 10,000....
Floyd maybe the far superior fighter but in terms of sales he doesn't do much in comparision to Hatton.
