Who is the better boxer: prime Jones or Floyd?

Floyd Mayweather is the better boxer, Jones the more gifted athlete.

I'll go with Floyd, though you'll probably get more saying Roy. Roy's great gift is his ability to finish guys off, which Mayweather has never really possessed. That will probably be the deciding edge for Roy. I still think Mayweather has shown a better ability to adapt to any situation and win without being blessed with knockout power.

Jones at his best or Floyd at his best? This is not asking who would win, but who is p4p the better fighter.

Floyd Mayweather as he's actually fought someone. Roy Jones Jr looked great against bums. Mayweather, Calzaghe, Pacquaio, DLH...they've all got better resumes than Jones. Jones may have been better, but based upon what they actually have done in the ring, Mayweather wins hands down.

Jones defeated lots of world-class opponents, for example, Hopkins and prime Toney.

When I watch old the Jones fights from the 90s, I can clearly see he was a better p4p fighter than Floyd.
