        Ya know technically....

Mosley won the WBC interim belt against Collazo. And Cotto beat Mosley so...

Agreed. It's the WBC's fault for having a double standard.

I am a Mayweather fan. I just don't agree with what he's been doing lately.

It very much depends on the mandatory. It's generally in the sports best interest to keep fighting good competition and big name fights, regardless of what a particular organization wants you to.

If you want to take Mayweather off of your p4p list, do it because of his "retirement" and now inactivity, not because he chose not to fight some Welterweight mandatory instead of Hatton or ODLH.

Now, yes. But at the time, the fights w/ ODLH and Hatton were huge... one need only look at these forums around those times and the PPV amounts for each to see how big of fights those were.

I'm doing it because he's only faced one top welter weight (Zab Judah) and his upcoming fight with ODH means nothing. Inactivity. I can't just keep him #1 forever without him fighting someone relevant.

hey nuck nuck.. he can defend it BEFORE DECEMBER against a top WW..and he could keep it, if the WBC says its cool, like they did when he fought Hatton.

point is he is fighting Oscar at 150. SO he would rather do that then fight a worthy WW, so he has no choice but to drop it.
