Why don't Americans fight outside their own country?

Wow.................This threads has to be the most inaccurate thread ever...
What countries are talking about..??
Because I name alot of American fighters who fought in
Mexico
Canada
United Kingdom
Puerto Rico (Commonwealth) but still outside the mainland
********ic Republic Of The Congo
Venezuela
Jamaica
Philippines
Malaysia
Switzerland
France
Belgium
Dominican Republic
Australia
I can keep going but you get the idea.......
So you need to be more specific about what fighters are you talking about or Countries you are talking about...??Comment

A great deal of boxing's top fighters are American-based. Why would a champion like Mayweather or Cotto go to someone else's country to defend their title? Why should they? The challenger should come here and get the belts.
Also, the networks are all based in America (Showtime, HBO), and it costs a lot of money to bring equipment/crews across the world so a guy like Alex Arthur can get on TV. Why, when the champion fights in America?Comment

Here's what bothers me, too.
You have guys with belts in Germany "defending" their belts. How fair is it for a guy like Wayne Braithwaite who knocks down Yoan Pablo Hernandez and the referee helps him up?
Has anyone gotten a fair shake in Germany against Sven Ottke? Charles Brewer and Robin Reid should have been champs against Ottke.
Richard Hall was beating the living **** out of Michaelzcewski twice, and twice when Hall was en route to a stoppage or decision win the ref stopped him because of some very moderate swelling around his eyes.
Do you see what I'm getting at? Why would a fighter subject himself to such injustices unnecessarily?Comment
