I got this funny ass video from the PPV where Byrd fought Golota and it's got Eric Mitchell vs. Mayorga highlights. After the fight, Mayorga comes in and introduces Mitchell to like everybody in his family and is laughing and hugging Mitchell and ****. He tells Mitchell his mom was yelling "hit him hard" and acting like they're best friends. I think the guy is just a GREAT actor and does what he needs to do to get a reaction. I wonder if he takes anything seriously.

Mayorga is the quintesential person who talks the most ****, and sincerely doesn't mean it. He does whatever is necessary to make it a FIGHT, because that's his style and if he baits you into a brawl he ha the advantage. However, I highly doubt he means what he says, he shows sincere apologetic tendencies after his fights, like kneeling down to ask Vargas to forgive him.

As disrespectful as he is, he's never seemed to be the guy who TRULY meant it. He just seems like he doesn't have a problem crossing the line. Not that he hated the person. I doubt he'd even get pissed if the other guy crossed the line with him. I think he hopes for it. After the fight, he's back to the guy he really is, a boxer/fighter.
