How does Mayorga switch it on/off so easily?

I got this funny ass video from the PPV where Byrd fought Golota and it's got Eric Mitchell vs. Mayorga highlights. After the fight, Mayorga comes in and introduces Mitchell to like everybody in his family and is laughing and hugging Mitchell and ****. He tells Mitchell his mom was yelling "hit him hard" and acting like they're best friends. I think the guy is just a GREAT actor and does what he needs to do to get a reaction. I wonder if he takes anything seriously.

He told my brother in law it was an act.. It's goes with his brutal style and is a great way to get noticed. He has like 8 kids to feed and he had to get recognized some way or another.. His style and personality are a hot sell and that's what keeps the fights lined up.
