  • Pavlik's Trainer Loew: "Calzaghe, Put Up or Shut Up!"

Jack Loew, trainer of WBC/WBO middleweight champ Kelly Pavlik is challenging trainer Enzo Calzaghe to put his money where his mouth is. Loew says if Enzo is so confident about Gary Lockett being able to beat Pavlik on June 7 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, he should follow through with placing a wager on the fight. [details]

Pavlik is so humble, and Jack is so brash. Strange combination indeed.

This war of words is kinda funny though.

A bit like Enzo and Joe I'd say. I would love to see Joe and Kelly fight, I think it would be tremendous.

Yeah. Pavlik should be Calzaghe's last fight. I'd rather see that fight than a fight with a shot, over-the-hill, chinny old-age-pensioner in Roy Jones Jr.

        But that's just my opinion.

Joe can't go out fighting RJ jr, if he wins everyone will say he waited 'till they were both older instead of coming over in in their prime. If he has W's Vs. Hopkins, Jones Jr, Lacy, Kessler AND Pavlik then he's on the top five P4P of his day. No questions asked. I wonder would the America fans who dislike him then approve he is one of the great fighter of his time? Also this word of words may be Pavlik's camps way of trying to get a fight with Joe.

Co-sign. It's funny when a quiet fighter has a loudass mouthpiece in his camp. But Pavlik v Joe C is a good fight. I don't think Pavlik would win it tho.

they've started with the un-official promotion for Pavlik vs Calzaghe all ready... im 100% with Pavlik because he's a humble young man looking to continue to break through in the boxing world, and Calzaghe is an arrogant but pretty darn good fighter, and is this fights does happen, which im confident it will, i believe that Calzaghe beats Pavlik, too fast and too much experience for Pavlik who need to be taught something else other than that 1-2 punch.

Pavlik should tell Loew to shut the fuck up. He doesn't need a loudmouth moron making him look bad. I'm a Kelly fan as a fighter and a person. Why would he surround himself with a disrespectful ******* like Loew?

I hope Calzaghe vs Pavlik happens and I don't at the same time, because it means one of my favourite fighters has to lose. I think Joe might give Kelly something of a boxing lesson if they fight, unless Kelly can land a few bombs. Even then, Joe has a great chin. Kelly needs more experience before he's ready for Joe, but it's now or never and a warrior like Kelly will always take 'now' if he can.

lol I predict a brawl or some sort of altercation between Enzo Calzaghe and Jack Loew in the weigh in/press conference of Pavlik Lockett.

Personally I think they are tryna strike up an angle or story line for the build up of a possible Calzaghe Pavlik showdown.

Calzaghe doesn't have the bollox to fight a prime decent fighter!

Joe likes his Manfredo Jr's every 3 months.
