        :
Hatton is hugely popular in the United states. Which is why he is fighting at 2 in the afternoon on an obscure channel on a Saturday of a holiday weekend.

Please remind me how many Hatton fights that have been broadcast in the US have been pay-per-view where the guy in the other corner wasn't Floyd Mayweather.

In case your math is bad.... 400K buys > 55K tickets.

The only record a rematch would break is the least warranted rematch... ever.

Ok, good. For a moment there, i was worried that the "regular guy" had been seduced by money.

"America" didn't change him. US$ 25 million changed him. Just like it would change me. Or you.

His fights used to be free, first fight since Mayweather, it's £15 PPV and it's not like he's fighting top level opposition or anything?!?!. He's taking the piss IMO.

Once you get that first taste of the big money and big event, you whore out.

Mayweather was always a greedy **** ("twelve million dollar contract? That's slave wages"). But after tasting some big-time PPV money (gatti, judah, baldomir), Floyd looks at the money FIRST. Eff the legacy.

Hatton is transparent now. There is NO WAY that this Lazcano fight should be a PPV fight.
