Exactly. He didnt have the heart to keep fighting against Chris Byrd....What would ATG heavyweights do?

I think he had the talent to end up top 10 all time, but he isnt even close IMHO with what he accomplished.

top 10? no chance in hell. and not even a chance in hell's hell

what the **** did he do? outside of the good showing he put up against lewis and lost, what other fighters are worthy of beating to be great are on his list?

corrie sanders??? part time dancer, an avid golfer who was knocked out by hasim rahman, and then in a recent fight waxed out in the first round by a bum

danny williams???? freddie roach once said "not to take anything away from danny, but you cant consider yourself a contender if you cant beat danny williams" lol and i could see perfectly why he would say that

herbie hide? a cruiserweight who never beat a credible heavyweight in the first place

i could give him credit for kirk johnson, but kirk was just as undisciplined as rahman or sanders were in his career

dont forget that the 6'8 250 pound fighter has a loss against a chris byrd. i dont care about the hand problems, he lost to byrd

This is ridiculous, everyone has their own opinions so I respect that. But IMO this guy doesn't make anywhere near top 10. As someone said who has he beat?

Yeah Kirk is from my hometown. he was another guy with a ton of potential, but he failed because he never had the discipline to actually train. I always liked Kirk, but when I saw what he looked like against Vitali when he came into the ring, I started cheering for Vitali to knock that fatass out. What is sad is i even met Kirk twice before that and always considered him a nice guy. My motto is though if you don't make the effort, you deserve a beating in this game.

Vitali was an imposing heavy, and he would have been a giant against many on the all time list. But I cannot rank him with then because he failed to live up to his potential also due to injuries etc. being an all time great usually include longevity and fights against others who are great. if he could have stuck around for another 2-3 years, who knows.
