Castillo actually won the first fight against Mayweather -- that was a gimme.

I can't beleive all the flagrant racism in this thread.
I voted no. I do consider Calzaghe a good fighter and i think he sure has the potential to be in that list, but right now he isn't. He has a couple of years of fighting left so we will see. Who he fights in the future and how he does could change my, and everybody else's opinion.

Calzaghe is definately in the top 30. For those who think he is not "there are none so blind as those who refuse to see".
He has a classy reume which would be much better if all the yank SMW were not too scared to come to UK to face him.
He smashed hopkins who ran and ran and ran

And why would the "yank SMW's" go to the UK to fight him? Tell me...why in the world would, Roy Jones, for instance, want to do that in 2000?

You reinforce my perceptions of UK boxing fans: Not realizing that this sport is primarily housed in America, no matter what delusions they harbor.
Meanwhile you take internet boxing debate and stereotype and entire society and it's everyday aspects as opposed to just it's boxing fans' knowledge. Good job.
