I think I had it 115-113.. I'll rewatch and score later.. but when you think about that.
That's with the rounds Cotto gave away at the end.. so it was kinda close but not as close as everyone is making it seem. Cotto just turned off in the later rounds.

Yeah man after some serious evaluating, watched this fight like 12x now.
Ive already said tho that perhaps my 1st few posts were a bit harsh coz the judges and most posters will hav only scored it on the 1 viewing, the judges only get 1 shot! I actually had him winning by like 3 rounds or something i think but after studying it its wider. I realise 2 rounds sounds nuts but watch it and write down how u think each round has gone and why. If u can be ****ed like! lol

i said this once and I'll say it again, the rounds that cotto won he won clearly, the rounds shane won were close.he was much more effective than shane.plain and simple.i saw shane hurt a couple of times, but as is the norm with miguel he could be quite sadistic vs his opponents.

It was close. Shane didn't get robbed, he just lost. A draw or even 155-113 for Shane wouldn't have gotten a terrible protest from me. But the final scores were fair.

              Exactly.

It was a close, but clear win for Cotto. Even Shane admitted he lost to De La Hoya after the fight.

This fight should've been scored 116-112, Cotto won 8 rounds comfortably and Shane did more in the 4 closer rounds. And eventhough it was a competitive fight it, wasn't a close fight Cotto was clearly winning.

Cotto won every aspect of the fight, when he was the aggressor he was beating the crap out of Shane and when he decided to box he beating Mosley to the punch.

I also have to agree with everything you said. Cotto was clearly better than Mosley. And Cotto is very sadistic, masochistic, whatever you want to call it.

                    lol, at this thread

i had the fight very close i was favoring cotto, both hurt each other the difference was that mosley started late, and no one likes to give away the rounds, i don't think if someone is going backwards you can say he gave up the rounds, close fight inaht, they gave it to the up and comer fighter

I could see how you have 10 rounds to 2. I had it 9-3 when i watched it on tv, i didnt keep track at MSG but i was sure he won. I say 8-4 at best. Mosley wasnt close to winning that fight at all, Cotto outbrawled him, outboxed him, ouththought him, and was just by far the better man that night.
Dude, what are you talking about? You did not see this fight live. I was front row and it was not clear to me that Cotto won.
