No offense to the Uk,Scotland,Wales or any of those countries. As a country I love and respect them immensely. When it comes to boxing you are the greatest fans on earth! Bar none! However the fighters you send across the pond are straight up fake ass garbage b-class fighters. You haven't sent a GREAT fighter across since Lennox Lewis. Hatton is a hugging and clinching bum! Calzaghe is a feather fisted over protected bum! Amir Khan is a glass chinned duplicate of the biggest fake of all Naseem Hamed! Now comes David Haye. America remember this post! He is a fake! The UK fighters are well managed and over protected. Look at who Joe C has fought. He fought Jeff Lacy and and 70 year old Bernard Hopkins! Now he's looking to fight Roy Jones? Why not prove you are what you claim and fight someone like Kelly Pavlik,Chad Dawson or hell, I'll settle for Jermain Taylor even though I don't think he's a A Class fighter he's at least dangerous. I will bet anyone that if any of those fighters the UK are over EVER step up in class they all get sent back home in shame like Frank Bruno,Naseem Hamed and Ricky Hatton. The good thing is they come home to the World's Greatest Fans and you still love them to pieces!
Why Does The UK Keep Shoving Their Garbage Fighters Down Our Throats!

The fact that you consider the fighters to be 'shoved down your throat' reveals the real motivation behind your post. You are a US fan of US boxers and you consider just hearing of or reading posts about UK fighters to be at best boring or at worst offensive. Boxers boxing and fans talking about them is in no way 'shoving them down your throat' dude, its what boxers and fans do, and you could do with either upping your tolerance levels a little or broadening your horizons a lot. -
Hatton is top of his division, won a few fights in the US, before losing to the world no. 1, at a higher weight, and not as badly as some make out. Calz beat an awkward defensive, spoiling master in Hopkins, RJJ wasn't convincing in breaking him down looking good, neither was Calz, no shock there. A win. He'll be favourite against RJJ, Pavlik, or Tarver, he's no. 1 at two weight classes.
Haye is top of the Cruiser weight division, and most regard him to have a good chance at least, of doing the same with the Heavy Weight division.
Not quite the post you made. That's just the fighters you mentioned. Sorry mate, you tried to respect the fans, but truth is you've not objectively assessed those fighters, you've subjectively assessed those fighters based on one sided info you and some exaggerate.Comment

It it the UK or the American TV networks? HBO used a lot of money to take Calzaghe and Hatton from Showtime. HBO made them names and marketed them to the American fan.No offense to the Uk,Scotland,Wales or any of those countries. As a country I love and respect them immensely. Britain has some great fighters, including the Ring Champion in four weight divisions:
Haye: 200
Calzaghe: 175, 168
Hatton: 140Comment

Ahem...made their names in America, you mean.
And I think the fact Calzaghe and Hatton kept beating everybody helped a little too.
...just saying.Comment
I may be in the minority but being an Anglo-American I like to follow British boxing.
