Oscar's legacy as a fighter is and will always be that of someone who continually came up short on the biggest stage.

funny that up to this point no one has even mentioned the guys floyds fought for titles cuz some are damn near not worth mentioning.....Genaro Hernandez (14 yr old vet).....Angel Manfredy (1st ballot hof for sure lol).......Carlos Alberto Ramon Rios (who?? right).....Justin Juuko (no comment).....Carlos Gerena (??)....Gregorio Vargas (???).....Carlos Hernandez (???)....Phillip N'dou (???).....DeMarcus Corley (really?)....Henry Bruseles (???).....Zab Judah (gets no attention on any lists)..... Carlos Manuel Baldomir (??? <- tired of these?)Is this a joke? Who would vote for ODLH?
Oscar has lost all of the biggest fights of his career, not to mention he won controversial decisions against Sturm, Quartey, and Whitaker. He gave away a fight against Tito, and is widely considered to have taken a dive against Bhop. Not to mention....HE LOST TO FLOYD.
i mean half these guys we couldnt pick out a line up and your bashing oscar for fighting sweet pea....tito....bernard...chavez (who was 96-1-1 for ****s sake when oscar fought him, 100-2 the 2nd time they fought)....hector camacho... ike quartey (34-0).....mosley....gatti....vargas......ALL THESE GUYS ARE HOF so lets get real!!
i love floyd....hes my favorite fighter ever behind tyson and roy.....but he hasnt fought the opp that oscar has and if he doesnt step it up he not going down as one of the greatest....that will 4ever hurt his legacyLast edited by Chrome_It_Bitch; 05-22-2008, 12:11 PM.Comment

i got to say DLH at the min. he has fort the best never ducked nebody. and people go on bwt floyd undefeated yes i agree but in 10+ years time people will be talking about DLH's fights as he has fought some classic fights and controversial ones.
floyd is the better fighter but he hasnt fort any memorable classic fights. DLH is the biggest draw in boxing even NOW (with hatton). not floyd.Comment

Sure Floyd has some questionable opponents. But he has beat them all soundly with the exception of JLC. The point is he has never lost, and has rarely looked bad while still winning.funny that up to this point no one has even mentioned the guys floyds fought for titles cuz some are damn near not worth mentioning.....Genaro Hernandez (14 yr old vet).....Angel Manfredy (1st ballot hof for sure lol).......Carlos Alberto Ramon Rios (who?? right).....Justin Juuko (no comment).....Carlos Gerena (??)....Gregorio Vargas (???).....Carlos Hernandez (???)....Phillip N'dou (???).....DeMarcus Corley (really?)....Henry Bruseles (???).....Zab Judah (gets no attention on any lists)..... The point is oscars fought hall of famers so i think he can take L here and there.....floyds fought one in oscar....all his other opposition is damn near nobodys so with his talent HE SHOULD HAVE BEATEN THEM SOUNDLY AND CONVINCINGLY...i think if oscar fights those same guys and only those guys in his prime he would have beat them soundly too and be undefeatedComment
