Bingo. Stevie's objective for the night was to last 12 rounds and not get knocked down. So he did a better job of accomplishing his mission, but I'm not sure it equates giving a better performance, or even a better account of yourself.

I had Floyd-Zab 116-112, could easily make a case for 115-113, and even 114-113 if Steele called the knockdown early in the fight. Although you could also argue that 2 pts should've been docked from Zab for a deliberate foul, which would make 114-111, or 115-110. Either way, scoring nine for Floyd is basically scoring on auto pilot after the fifth, because he didn't sweep 6-12.

Yes, he was fresher and Tszyu was in a wheelchair, but it was not one-sided at all. You're probably one of those guys who says Hatton got robbed by Cortez since Cortez made him actually FIGHT THE WAY YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO. Holding and hitting is not scoring blows. You aren't supposed to score a punch when Hatton holds a guy's arm and hits him with the other.
