You had KT in front yet you were all over Hatton's nuts after that fight. Doesn't tally.
And I also called Tszyu a quitter repeatedly and still do today. I was excited about seeing Mayweather-Hatton that November, then found out Ricky knew he couldn't win (thus dragging the fight out for another two years and cashing out), and lost mad respect for him.

Just because it's an interesting topic:

Tszyu-Hatton is one of the most difficult big time fights to score in recent years. If you favor aggression as a lot of judges (like Lederman) do, then you could argue Hatton won 7-8 rounds. If you favor Tszyu's effective scoring, you could have him up by a round or two. Very difficult to score, but watching live (and not scoring), I had Ricky ahead. On the rewatch, I had Tszyu up.

I am fickle for not backing a phoney? Wow. That's like saying I was wrong for picking Lacy to beat Calzaghe when nobody knew anything about Joe. Sure, Europeans claim they knew he was good, but he hadn't fought anybody or done anything impressive in his career. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

                Nah, you're just fickle.

Don't make excuses for ignorance. Joe had 5 or 6 former champs on his resume before that fight and the depth in that division has always been in Europe. Opposition aside, you only had to watch the 2 of them in action to know it was going to be an easy fight for JC. I was saying it months before the fight was even signed.

Scoring aside, Hatton bothered PBF for much of the fight, whereas Forbes played the role of sparring partner.

You had Hatton LOSING against Tszyu at the time of the stoppage? Damn, that's certainly a first.

I had Floyd-Zab 116-112, could easily make a case for 115-113, and even 114-113 if Steele called the knockdown early in the fight. Although you could also argue that 2 pts should've been docked from Zab for a deliberate foul, which would make 114-111, or 115-110. Either way, scoring nine for Floyd is basically scoring on auto pilot after the fifth, because he didn't sweep 6-12.

Hatton down against Tszyu - wow, just wow. I'm not even sure it merits a reply.
