    That's not alot for two of the top boxing fighters....both who alot of fans consider the best at 147. If it were 370k max then yeah that would be decent BUT if it does the minimum of 300k or 320k then it's a disappointment for two of the game's best and most exciting fighters.

    As Dirty E Gomez just point out...Pac-Morales 2 did like 360k in 2006. They barely outsold Baldomir-Maywather that year. That should tell you something.

      Mayweather was averaging about 350-380 pre DLH. So you're saying Floyd wasnt' doing a lot?

            He did alot more then Cotto did. Alot more then Margarito did.

            You're missing the point and turning it to Mayweather.

            I'm telling you that Floyd carried a guy who was a nobody 6 months before in Baldomir and almost did as many buys as Morales-Pacquiao....two of the best in the lower weights.

              Mayweather, until recently, might've been known as the best fighter in the sport, but still wasn't that well known to the public. He was carrying PPV's largely by himself due to the couple of years w/ relative weak opposition.

              Even w/ that, Mayweather outsold Cotto by like 100k when facing Judah.

                  after how many PPV fights? A lot of your comrades are saying that both Margo AND Cotto are nobodies and you've even gone as far as to agree with them in another thread. I believe it was the HBO ratings thread.

                  A perfect example of a fight supported only by Boxing diehards is the Pavlik/Taylor rematch. Taylor is no stranger to PPV and Pavlik is an exciting fighter yet the fight only did about 240K i believe. Every hardcore fan knew that was a fight to watch, but the numbers show the mainstream wasnt interested. So if 350-370 people spend money to watch these fools fight, that would obviously mean that they ARE known in the mainstream.

                  I mean, one cant first say that both of them arent known to the public, but then turn around and say that the fight might do 350-370, which is really great in today's times, and say its really not that good you know?

                  240K = No good
                  350+ = Good
                  370+ = Great

                      Maybe they should get them a teleprompter to read off words written in spanglish. Like they did in the english Jet Li movies. The guy seemed like he could speak good english but in reality he didn't even know what he saying. He was just reading off what they wrote.
