Forrest difficult to say but he does have 2 wins over Shane
We can agree to disagree on De la Hoya. You think its difficult to say that Vernon Forrest is a B-Class fighter? Damn

Good thread and idea but I think you should have an S list, I wouldn't know who to include but you can't honestly compare Calzaghe and a lot of them to mayweather!

      I agree Hatton's a B fighter, still mostly it's opinion.

I thinky your lists are reasonable but what I like the best about this post is that it shows pretty well how the perspective of the fan determines how a fighter is perceived.

So for example I don't know Cotto can be elite but Hatton + Pavlik B-Level in terms of who they have done in their careers?

How can Winky be elite but not Eubank?

I'm not saying you are wrong at all, there is no wrong and right in questions like this, but its interesting to see what people think.

I promise you, Chris Eubank is the definition of an elite fighter. He beat Watson twice, beat and drew with Nigel Benn, fought two huge wars with Steve Collins and gave a young Calzaghe what I think remains the hardest fight of his career.

This is what I mean by perspective man, I'm not dissing you, but I'm pretty sure most people think Eubank, Benn and Watson were elite fighters.

i dont agree with that list at all

Wlad is a very skillfull HW but his chin seperates him form being Elite IMO he would get KO by a lot of the Elite HW

i cant comment on Roy being a B Class fighter cause im to stunned

                  Baldy a B Class fighter

I hate ODLH, but he belongs in class A.

I would move Tyson, Toney, and Cotto to class B. Tyson's a head case who would get beat by anyone with average talent and heart. Toney, no way. Cotto has a chance to move up.

I would move Gatti to Class C.

I wouldn't call any them elite.............. it's easy to think that they were given that they were made such a big deal over here, but all any of them were were title holders.None of them holds a career defining win over anyone outside of that group (and no.......... Iran Barkley and Gerald Mcllellan were no A class! before you start)
