Sure Floyd had great fights in the lower weights but since he came up those where bore fest. Floyd Hatton Got me mad with Floyd because I was Rooting for him but pisses me off every time he uses his elbows at the same time the Hatton punch hug style.

But Floyd vs OScar, Judah, Mitchell , BArdomir, Bruseles where so ****ing boring. IMO
LMAO AT WHAT GETS YOU MAD
AND IF FLOYD IS SO BORING WHY DID HE KNOCK OUT NDOU IN SEVEN EXCITING ROUNDS WHILE COTTO WON A UD AGAINST HIM? YOU SAID FLOYD FIGHTS ARE BORING I GAVE YOU SEVERAL EXAMPLES OF FIGHTS THAT WERE NOT BORING. YOU STILL TRY TO DOWN PLAY IT WITH A ****** REPLY LIKE THE ONE YOU JUST DID. COTTO HAS ONLY HAD 3 EXCITING FIGHTS HIS WHOLE CAREER. TORRES, JUDAH, MOSLEY AND EXCEPT FOR THE TORRES FIGHT NONE OF THEM HAD THE EXCITEMENT OF A FLOYD VS CHAVEZ, NDOU, CORLEY, CORRALES, CASTILLO, GATTI, JUDAH, HATTON FIGHT. BE REAL DUDE.

What was Floyd's first PPV at what fight(#) and what was Cotto's first PPV.

Floyd vs Hatton and Floyd vs Oscar sold the way they did because of their Fan base (OScar and Hatton Of course)

And if any you wanted to see a Super PPV event it would have been Hatton vs Oscar before their fight with Floyd (you know since they lose to him)

That **** would have sold so much PPV's that to break it you would have to put Britney vs Hilton in a ring fighting in things.

Somebody Please Tell Him Not to Argue with HORUS when it comes to numbers.... It's A NO WIN situation for you there.....

not trying to disrespect you, but pointing out in which the manner floyd and cotto disposed of the same opponents isnt the best argument for what you're trying to relay. and also, puya said "ever since he moved up".

why were the fans booing and leaving the baldomir fight? thats proof of how boring the fight was isnt it? how do you think that reflected on the people watching at home? merchant's blatant dismissal of his performance didnt help either.

why are boxing fans criticizing the dlh rematch? why is it that whenever that fight is mention in articles, its always accompanied with "a fight fans arent happy with" or "not what boxing fans are really lookin foward to" etc.

these are all solid signs of the lack of excitement those fights generated.

the simple fact is, suckers tuned in because they expected an exciting fight. thats what was sold to them right? Mayweather said, "im gonna slaughter DLH" and people believed him. unfortunately, it didnt pan out that way.
IN FAIRNESS DLH ALSO SAID HE WASN'T GOING TO DO WHATEVER IT TOOK TO WIN. HE ALSO SAID HE WAS GOING TO MAKE FLOYD FEEL HIS POWER. HE ALSO SAID FLOYD WASNT GOING TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE HIS HOOK. DLH SAID HE WAS GOING TO PUNCH UNTIL HE COULDNT PUNCH NO MORE.

Floyd vs Gatti - Gatti's first and only PPV fight. Biggest payday of his career.

Floyd vs Judah - Judah's first PPV and the highest PPV numbers of his career. Cotto-Judah did less then that. The biggest payday of his career.

Floyd vs Baldomir - Baldomir's first and only PPV. His biggest payday to date. Baldomir against Gatti ( you know Gatti, the guy that Floyd did a PPV with because he is such a PPV attraction) was on free HBO.

Floyd vs Oscar - 2.5 million PPV buys....a new record. Did more then Oscar-Mosley, Oscar-Trinidad, Oscar-Mayorga, Oscar-(insert here).

Other then the Baldomir fight, all of his fights are fun to watch. Not just for the high skill level but his status as a fighter. When you know that you're watching a undefeated fighter who is considered to be the best regardless of weight classes...that's exciting on it's own.
