Sure say what you want. Say he'd win 12 straight rounds over every one of these guys. You'll never know the outcome of a fight against serious opposition until that final bell rings. I do recall Floyd saying that Miguel Cotto is a "punching bag" and that he could finish Margarito in less than four rounds right? This is a business of put up or shut up. Actions speak louder than words. The actions of our current pound for pound champion seem more like he's interested in being a celebrity than being a fighter. If he steps in the ring with any three of these guys I'd give him a pass as being an alright dude. But all this "G.O.A.T" talk is reserved for fighters who fought everyone without excuses and talk of PPV numbers and money. Its dudes like this who are ruining the sport. My guess if Floyd had to pick three from that list is that he'd take Mosley, Quintana and Clottey because it's clear he doesn't want anything to do with Cotto or Margarito. I'm sorry but he's never been put to the test and when he was against lets say Judah for example, he wasn't having such a walk in the park of a fight. Real talk...

Personally for me to be a top 10 p4p ATG he must fight-
    Cotto
    Margarito
    Forrest
Williams (if he gets past Quintana) or Quintana if he beat Williams

You're not getting me.. I never disagreed with SRR being the greatest P4P fighter of all time.

P4P means that put at any weight with the same skills and attributes you have now how would you rank? If Sugar Ray Robinson was at Heavweight with the same skills he had and attributes he would be the greatest.. that's what P4P is.

But the fact of the matter is that he wasn't a heavyweight.. and a heavyweight will beat all the lower weight classes on size alone.

So who is the greatest when it comes to beating someone.. the greatest heavyweight.

SRR is still the greatest fighter P4P of all time and has the best record and skill..

That's the way I see it.

If I one day I became the greatest P4P fighter of all time.. I think it would kill me knowing that I couldn't be thee greatest because I am not a heavy.

This is what troubled Jake LaMotta as well.. he could be the best in his division but he could never be Heavyweight champ.

I'll give that to him.. even though it was John Ruiz.

I heard of a middleweight or something like that that once knocked out a heavyweight in a sanctioned pro bout.
Forget his name though... NOW THAT'S P4P!

Prime Toney or the fat tub of lard we have today? Prime Toney beats Floyd hands down.

Louis at his best was between 200-205.

Louis was 200-210 and up to 220 lbs when he retired but Rocky Marciano who was around Robinson's time was 185-190 lbs.

I seriously doubt Robinson could've beaten Marciano because he was never bigger than 160 lbs, not even against the 175-180 lb Joey Maxim.

Robinson boxed as a featherweight in the amateurs and started his pro career as a lightweight. He was too small, there were others however...

Jimmy Ellis who started as a skinny middleweight went on to win the HW title.

Archie Moore who started as a middleweight defeated top contenders at heavyweight. He did not manage to capture the title in his two title try's against Marciano and Patterson though.

Bob Fitzsimmons won the HW title and he was no more than 160 lbs.

Sam Langford knocked out big heavyweights and early in his career he challenged the welterweight champion Joe Walcott at 147 lbs!
