Teddy Atlas is more famous for winning the title with Michael Moorer against Holyfield rather than the fact he trained Tyson early in his career

Teddy Atlas is quite possibly the most overrated trainer of all-time.

His claim to fame is how he allegedly willed Michael Moorer to victory over Evander Holyfield, nevermind the fact that Moorer slept-walk even after Atlas begged him to fight with more passion. What other big successes did Atlas have as a pro trainer?

Aaron "Put the Condom on Mike Tyson's Eye" Snowell had more success as a pro trainer than Atlas.

I like Teddy, I really do, but sometimes...you know, in the case of Tyson... he has been vilified by Teddy for some of things he has done....but Teddy has ADMITTEDLY done, and almost done, some pretty violent things, too. Going to LaLonde's house to MURDER him because he fired you...and punching some reporter in the face because he wrote something you didn't like isn't what I would call indications of storng character.
