PBF could beat either guy but he don't want it with either guy cuz he couldn't do it easily. He knows either of em could take him too. Even if Margarito wins decisively over Cotto Floyd will probably never fight him, but I think he would fight Cotto if Miguel is the winner.

Bob Arum is correct about this.

Floyd shouldn't be respected or ranked p4p #1 because he refuses to fight the best in his weight division.

He hasn't fought a mandatory for his WBC welterweight title in a year and a half, so why don't they strip him?

          I agree.

Whoever wins between Margarito and Cotto should be considered the king of the division. It shouldn't set up a mandatory with PBF; in fact, he should have to face the loser before facing the winner of that match. He has plenty of money, and plenty of mouth, so let's see him walk.

No matter who would win, Floyd would look better for taking the fight. Could you imagine if these three fought each other (repeatedly) for the next 3-4 years? That would be tremendous for boxing, a la Hagler, Hearns, & Leonard.

step up to be the best

This is true ilove floyd his trainning his skills but do not open your mouth and say he's going to destroy this fighter or that fighter, his thinking is surviving in the fight you never stay in the pocket and exchange like the warriors like barrera, castillo, marquez, and others like cotto he's a coward afraid of getting destroyed mentaly always holding hardly ever exchange punch for punch its about the money and not about what the outcome of a battle no heart at all.Stop ducking cotto, margarito, marquez, and yes lets see a malinaggi fight 2 of the most gifted fighters, but the magic man is not afraid to stay in the pocket and exchange,so prettyboy you want to be the best ever and your name in the same breath as sugar ray robbinson first fight these 4 and then you can be though of in the same as the best of the legends of all time.So step up and sign the contracts to fight these guys do ont be a coward. brooklyn in the house

I have to agree with Arum here and who would know Mayweather enough to make such an accuastion? Bob Arum! and you know Floyds recent actions in who he has chosen to fight prove that he does not want to fight anybody who might pose a threat to him.
and like I said after DLH if Floyd does not fight either Cotto or Margarito hell if he doesnt fight the loser even, he is a ****ing coward.

                Correct

Bob Arum is 1000% completely correct on his coward statement. Floyd is in his prime, Cotto is in his prime, Margarito is in his prime, De la Hoya is not in his prime. Although the coward had trouble "BEATING" a De la Hoya who is over his prime. What gives him and the boxing "experts" the right to proclaim him as the best when he avoids the best. You cannot be considered the best when you run like a coward and make up excuses as to why you don't want to fight a certain fighter like lets say... Cotto. "Oh he's not worthy or not popular enough" to fight you, ****, why not give him the chance and you yourselve can make him popular after he beats the **** out of you. I freakn hate Maycoward, he needs to step it up and shut his f****n mouth up, he has enough money, now be a man and fight the best, do it for your so called "legacy" and not the money!!!!

if these champs are fighting each other and not mayweather, why should he still be considered the best welter? it makes no sense and i don't care what he has done in the past,he's a welterweight now, fight the other champs, not old fighters like oscar and little ones like hatton, fight current champs, unify. he's not doing that...the best welter will be decided from winner of cotto/tony and if that fighter beats winner of quintana/williams. champs fighting champs....mayweather=pu$#$%$...pu#%%@=mayweather,s imple as that.

Maybe he is a coward. But how many boxers can say they have retired rich, undefeated and with their brain in tact? Not many.

Floyd is never going to be a guy who fights everyone to prove he is the best, he just wants to make money and do his work when he has to.

It seems to me that the guys who do retire healthy always have some so called 'unfinished' business like Lennox with Klitscko.

I dont like the guy, i hate the way he fights and wouldnt pay to watch him, but he is using boxing in a very smart way.
