    Can Cotto Knock Floyd Out?

This is a better question then the other way around, due to Floyd's great D, great chin, and Cotto's great, size and power.

I still stand by what I have always said. I cant see any righty knocking Floyd out unless he is much much much more bigger then him. Cotto is definatly bigger and stronger but unless your "atleast" a MW then you have no chance. Now I believe that a Southpaw could catch anyone with a blind punch or a punch you can see coming and still cant stop it. It would still be hard to Knock Floyd out but Chop showed that it is possible. Still though, even that was moreso when Floyd was swinging and not so much about D but no way a righty does it under MW and it might even be SMW. His D is just too good for that.

Now I know that alot of people will respond how they always do to me about this. "Cotto is a lefty who fights Orthodox". I know this, Im not ******. Its not the same. Its not about what hand you are but your stance. Its about everything being backwards against a southpaw. Cotto being a natural lefty doesnt matter in that regard. Now he does switch Southpaw pretty well and Ill give you that but its still not the same as a natural southpaw. He's good at it but its still not natural to him. I actually think that if Cotto pulls that Southpaw **** against Floyd then he will get his ass whooped. The key that no one ever tries is that you blitz him. I bet Floyd gets very offensive when Cotto goes Southpaw and then he'll come right out of it or will get hit easily.

Now you could argue that it will be Cotto beating on him and wearing him down that will stop him but I still think that wont work because his D is too good and he hasnt had 1 fight yet where he wasnt the strongest guy at the end of the fight and most of the time his opponent has really slowed down due to his D. You could say that Cotto wins but I cant see him stopping Floyd. Most of all I cant see Cotto dominating like alot of people on here say. You can say what you want about Floyd but you cant act like he's some chump. No way he'll ever get dominated unless he moves up to MW or something. He's far too skilled and smart for that

Maybe. They'd have to fight for us to find out.

      I'm not sure.

His power would seem capable, although Floyd has shown a good chin/body.

The defense issue would keep Floyd from getting KO'd IMO.

So to answer your question, Cotto CAN KO Floyd, but likely WON'T.

        To the chin...........no chance.

        To the body???

Floyds too smart...he always takes his opponets best punch away from them.

How many hard right hands did Hatton land to the body??...ZERO.

How many lhard eft hooks did Oscar land???...ZERO.

        Seeing a pattern.

If Cotto times a shot he can possibly land a solid blow.

Both can KO eachother. They gotta fight smart. Everyone gets hurt.

That seems strange that you say that...

I have never seen Floyd hurt to the body, but Corley hurt him to the chin, and so did Judah.

            Just an observation.

There's very little chance while Floyd is still fast.

Chop chop hit Floyd in the head.

Judah didnt hurt Floyd..he was landing flush but Floyd wasnt hurt.

                Floyd has a great chin.

The secret to Cottos power is the four inch titanium rod in his shoulder...

                  Dude actually is a cyborg...

I recall Judah landing a major left that had Floyd buzzed for a bit.. I think it was round 3 or 4.
