Bottom line: This will be a great fight! Margarito will be victorious in a tough, hard fought war. There is no quit in Cotto, but Margarito is the strongest natural ww he will have faced thus far. (Quintana is not a big puncher) Cotto will attempt to box early until Margarito's pressure and unmatched punching output causes the ref to stop the fight! Still I predict "fight of the year" material.

Everybody has their opinion but ONLY mine counts. Margarito may have a great chin but if he allows himself to get hit often (and he will) Cotto knocks him out within 8. Margarito is a bad boy and I'm not taking anything away from him but Cotto is just a step faster, throws the shorter crisper punches, posses better defense and will simply touch Margarito's chin early and often.

An easy fight to predict

Cotto is a great fighter, but he is going up agains a much bigger opponent who will give him the kind of pressure he has never seen. Cotto hits hard, but Margarito has an Iron chin. If Kermit Cintron could not hurt Antonio Margarito with clean shots to the chin, then Miguel Cotto has no shot to knock him out. I believe Cintron was the hardest puncher in the division, and he couldnt phase Margarito. My prediction, Margarito scores a TKO in the 11th round.

you know what is funny to me is the so called "arm chair boxing analyist" in these forums. people talk about cottos chin after watching 3 of his fights on youtube and say that margarito will ko him forgetting about the 29 other fights where he has taken flush shots from quality opponents and beaten them soundly. every fighter gets hit at one point or another and stunned or staggered, its about how you comeback from that what makes the difference in winning or losing and cotto has proved time and time again he is the real deal. following the train of thought that because cotto has been hurt before and now his chin is suspect he will get ko, that must mean because margarito has lost before that he cant win against an undefeated fighter. its all bull**** because regardless of what these 2 fighters have done to everybody else they havent fought each other yet. uno.
