To me "prospect" means just what you said: who has the best prospects of eventually being a champ. I never said nor meant that Boytsov has warranted a higher ranking than Arreola. But I call him a better "prospect" because he has a better chance of reaching the top.


And yes he is small for a modern HW

that remains to be seen once he starts fighting "real" guys. it's very easy to make yourself look like a prospect when fighting a guy with no pulse

arreola fought better opposition, and he performed on PPV cards in front of large crowds, that also plays into it.

and i speak from experience here kayjay, there's a significant difference in your showing fighting a **** opponent, and a good opponent. something to keep in mind

I could be wrong and the guy did have a decent Amatuer career. But to me, unless a guy wins a gold medal (or was robbed like Holyfield,) he doesn't need to be ranked so high after such limited opposition.

But at only 6'1" (and probably closer to 6',) I don't think he's big enough to **** with today's HWs, unless he turns out to be a phenominal talent like Tyson, which is impossible to determine against the opposition that he's faced so far.

i think he's an even 6. he reminds me a little of tyson. quick handed, a little wild, good upperbody movement, good power in the eraly going. very fast starter

clearly has a lot of undeveloped credentials, but a good fighter. but not nearly as what cummie, wlad_owns, and kay jay are making him out to be. VERY VERY UNTESTED
